What can be better than pineapple and chicken??? Yum Yum Delicioso!!!!
SALAAMAH'S PINEAPPLE PAPRIKA CHICKEN
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
4 cloves of garlic crushed, or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 chicken cut into 8
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon paprika
1x440g canned pineapple rings
- Rub salt and garlic into chicken portions. Mix flour and paprika and sprinkle over chicken on both sides. Arrange chicken in a greased ovenproof dish and pour syrup from pineapple over.
- Bake at 180deg C for an hour, or until lightly browned, spooning pineapple syrup over chicken about 3 times and turning portions over half way through cooking time. Arrange pineapple rings over chicken and bake a further 10-15 min . Serve with rice or salad.
- (I add potatoes as well, if you using potatoes double the flour and paprika and add extra salt.)
